“I am not a model”.
This line has been over used by me for lot of times, often once a day. I just need to say it because I do not wan’t to be tagged incorrectly. Opps!! Put that left eyebrows down. I don’t mean that I don’t want to be called a model since being a model means you are beautiful, tall and sexy. And that is the reason why I don’t want to be tagged incorrectly because by purpose I am not a model. After that phrase, I need to add, “I am a blogger”.
There is a thin line between being a model and a blogger. I model has a statistics that needs to followed; just like being tall and slim, with strong facial features and eyes that can speak thousands of language. Sadly, I don’t fit to any of those category. I am small petite, my facial feature is soft and my eyes can only look at you without showing any emotions. I am just happy that for frustrated model just like me, I still have a medium of delivering my fashionable creative side, not by being a model but by being a blogger. Fashion blogging is closely associated to modelling since you are posing for your own blog. You are your own model and there is no one to tell you that you are not delivering good modelling style properly, because as I have said earlier, by purpose you are not a model.
I have looked up to those bloggers who are soaring high despite not having the height of a model. Just like Kryz Uy and Lauren Uy. I guess they are just as tall as I am but people are looking up at them and constantly checking on their blog. That is also what I do since they are the people I can relate to. It makes me think that I could possibly wear what she is wearing since she is just as small as I am.
What I learned through this process is that, we do not have to ask for something we do not have. Just enhance and improve your assets and you will just be good to go. I hope I have inspired you on this day!
