If there is one thing that I am truly proud about myself, it is me being a dreamer and making my dream a reality. I was not born with a golden spoon in my mouth, but my mom taught me the power of perseverance, that anything can happen if you believe in yourself.
Back in the days, I was a shy girl, I can easily blend in the crowd without you noticing me. I am a girl without a name, always hidden on a plain sight. I never believed in myself. The only person who believed in me is my own mother, she would always encourage me to go to the stage, perform and excel academically. I never do that back in high school and college. I never fully realized the power of my dreams until after college. I pity my old self for being lame, but now I know that my old self is already proud of what I have become. I am a perfect example of a late bloomer.
Weaving a dream is not easy. It takes a lot of motivation and will power. No one can convince you of the things you are capable of doing than yourself. Your confidence, guts and ability will take you far. I am not talking about blogging specifically but my dreams and aspirations in general.
My transformation did not happen overnight. There are people who become instrument for me to fully realize my capabilities. These are the people I met along the way. They shaped me and molded me.
Let me quote Harriet Tubman when she said; “Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world”. To all my readers, wake up and make your dreams a reality.
