Here comes the products!
The Glacial Clay in this bar is derived from glaciers right here in Canada. It is a product of melting glaciers which ends up as a sediment in the ocean and is one of the purest clays due to its high concentration of minerals. Its ability to absorb toxins and oils without dehydrating the skin makes this bar a gentle cleanser for all skin types.
I have to point out that when I opened the box, it smelled amazing and the culprit is the Rosemary Mint soap! I don’t use bar soap because I find them harsh on my skin, but this one is very gentle and not irritating at all. While in the shower I can smell the mint coming off the steam which is very relaxing. The bar lather up nicely and really gets my skin feeling clean. There is no residue left and my skin feels so soft.
Beth and Olivia Pink Clay Face Mask – $10.00
This dry face mask is suitable for dry and mature skin. It pulls out toxins from pores while softening the skin. Australian pink clay is a blend of red and white clay.
I mixed 1 tbsp. of the pink clay mask with 1 tbsp. of water and I got a perfect mix. It turned orange which is really fun to see since most of the powder mask that I tried are gray and black. It did not sting or become itchy while I had it on. And for the first time my skin wasn’t flaky dry which is always the case after I do mud or clay masking. My pores look smaller and my skin is much smoother.
Gently tones the skin without over drying. Great for all skin types. Your skin will have a more even complexion, reduction in fine lines and wrinkles and beautiful glowing skin. Paraben free, organic, lightweight, and effective.
I love the smell of this moisturizing lotion, it smells like the orange milkshake that my grandma use to make for me when I was young (Nostalgic. Haha!). The consistency is light, it doesn’t feel greasy after application and it is fast absorbing. Based on recommendation, you can use this in the morning before putting your moisturizer. As a follower of Korean skin care routine, I use essence before my moisturizer and it has the same consistency with the Moisturizing Lotion that I got. It arrived just in time because my essence is already empty and I am planning to buy a new one. This is definitely a good replacement considering that it is purely natural and it gives the same effect as the essence that I am using. I love it!
Natural Panda Bath Bomb – $4.52
Packed with plant-based oils and natural essential oils, this bath bomb will give your mind and body a break from the typical busy day. Made with natural ingredients, this bath bomb is handcrafted with no dyes, perfumes, or added preservatives.
It smells light and subtle and I love looking at the dried flowers floating when I had my bath. I run warm bath to help me relax and I lingered a bit hoping for the essential oils to do some wonder in my long standing dry skin issue. I filled the bath tub with a lot of water, but my bath bomb is so little so aside from the fizz and lovely scent, it did not give me the bath bomb experience that I am expecting. Nevertheless, I am still satisfied because after my bath, my skin felt smoother and glowing.
Total Product Value: $40.51
Cost of this subscription: $40.00
Conclusion: The value is at par with the price of the subscription not including the shipping fee but considering the contents are all natural beauty products from niche and local Canadian producers, I think that is good enough. I have high respect for people in the indie business because when they make their product, they do it with love. We are not only helping mother nature, we are also helping small businesses to grown and at the same we get the benefit of all natural product. I love all the products that I got because it is tailored for my needs and they all smell amazing.
