Campuestohan Highland Resort, Bacolod
One of the most memorable place we visited is the Campuestohan Highland Resort. This trip is like a trip back to childhood memory lane. It is like going to Disneyland without big rides. I felt like an excited child going to an amusement park for the first time!
The trip going there is literally painful. It was a very long trip from Mambukal where we spent our night. We woke up 5 AM so we can travel by 6 AM. We rode a bus from Mambukal to Bacolod City (P35.00), from the terminal we took a jeepney to Burgos terminal (P10.00), from there we took another jeepney from Burgos in Bacolod City to Alanginan (P30.00). When we arrived in Alanginan, we need to hire a tricycle that will take us to and from Campuestohan because there is no public vehicle that will directly take us to Campuestohan. The most surprising part is that they are asking P600 for the double trip. I swear I was already at the point of giving up because I did not except this trip will this long and tiring and expensive. We haggled until we come up with (P500.00) tricycle fee. There is actually a shuttle trip from Alanginan to Campuestohan owned by Campuestohan itself for only P100 one way fee per person, but it will leave Alanginan at 9 AM. Since we arrived in Alanginan at 10 AM, we have no choice but to hire a tricycle that will take us going there.
After the 4 hours and 4 rides trip, we finally arrived to the point of destination. The entrance fee is (P150.00), this fee do not include the the rides. They actually have outdoor rides to choose from:
Grand Carousel: P30.00, Mini Train: P30.00, Cable Hamster Ride: P100.00, Horseback Riding: P150.00, Zip Line: P200.00, and Rope Course: P200.00.
This is the biggest Mickey statue that I have ever seen!
Minnie and me.
They also have a swimming pool.
This is my view from above, there are small cottages by the pool and the play ground.
This is the playground. When I saw this, I remembered my little brother, he will absolutely love this place.
Aside from other amenities, you can also stay overnight and your room will be this cute Igloo house.
There are actually different sizes of the Igloo houses depending on the type that you want to accommodate. This is really cute! I hope we can try this next time when we visit Bacolod and hopefully we can stay longer.
This is the Indian Village, those tents are also rooms that they are making. It was still under construction when we visited.
I have a new business here. Lol!
The Kung Fu panda gang.

We may be really tired but we also had fun. Campuestohan was really worth all the effort!
