It’s not summer yet but I am already very excited to wear my summer dresses. And the best place to wear them? At the Montreal Botanical Garden Greenhouse. This is the first time that I visited the Botanical Garden during the day. The first time was to watch the Gardens of Light exhibit in the Chinese Garden. I am yet to explore this place in the coming summer so I can see the garden from outside.
The area that I like so much is the succulents garden and it happened that my dress match with it so I made it my playground to take photos for this beautiful Lace-up Floral Dress from Dokotoo. It should have been an off-shoulder maxi dress but since I am not very comfortable with off-shoulder clothes, I decided to wear it with sleeves up. Glad that I had that option.
Muted tone and floral flowy maxi dresses are the themes that I hope to achieve this year. As I am starting off with this simple feminine number, I decided to up my game by pairing it with a red/brown color block sandals and a round straw rattan sling bag that started to be trendy last year and for sure will stay on top this year since round handbags of all kinds already made its come back.
Dokotoo is the best place to shop if you are on the lookout for the hottest trend this year. Florals prints in chiffon, sheath, shift and wrap dresses will definitely be everywhere and I am one of those you will be spotting it with.
