It’s finally Chinese New Year! Yesterday, we went to Taoist Temple to have an early celebration for this occasion followed by a sumptuous dinner buffet at Tsim Tsa Tsui in Ayala because today, I will be flying to Cagayan De Oro for a 5 days vacation. I don’t want to miss the opportunity not to celebrate this special day since partly, I still have a Chinese blood in me.
I wore this beautiful red plain dress for this occasion because it is Chinese belief that wearing red colored clothes will bring luck to the following year. If you have noticed the dress is tailored fit with clean details. As I get older, my taste for fashion also changed. I no longer wear the complicated print details with complicated style. I would rather go to simple details because it is with those ensemble that you will see elegance and sophistication depending on how it is being carried. The equally sophisticated black pumps and black bag completed my look.
Gong xi Fa Cai everyone!
