High Waist Revival
Jumping into the high waist fashion trend! It took me a while to convince myself to wear a high waist trouser. I feel like my torso is not long enough for me to be able to pull off an outfit like this, but with proper styling and a lot of high waist fashion inspiration research, I was able to come up with a sophisticated high waist fashion ensemble. I am finally stepping out from my comfort zone and is now experimenting on outfits that I don’t dare to wear before. I debuted this outfit on a short Instagram story and created a poll if my followers want me to blog about this and I sure did get a 92% yes response so here it is!
The easiest high waist trend to pulled off is a denim high waist pants because it follows the wearer’s curve and easy to find a top to match it with. What’s difficult are trousers and wide leg pants because those are bulky staples that gets overwhelming for a petite framed girl (Me me me!). Good thing, I found the perfect top and trouser that would look good when put together. Since it’s already spring here in Montreal, my spring coat is finally out for a spin. I decided to tone down in my coat color because of my nagging green high waist trouser.
This is also the debut of the newest addition to my bag collection, my Rebecca Minkoff Chevron Quilted Love Crossbody bag. Who wouldn’t love this beauty? I just can’t take my eyes off it when I saw it and since I am due to buy a new purse, I felt like it came to me at the right time.
So what do you think of today’s outfit?
