Legoland, Malaysia
On our trip to Singapore we planned ahead to do a side trip to Legoland in Malaysia since Legoland is close to Singapore border and travel would just be more or less an hour. It was raining hard on our way there, but thank god when we arrived it subsided. There were just droplets, but it doesn’t hurt anyway and we still had so much fun. We bought our ticket in Singapore but we forgot to change our money from Singaporean dollar to Malaysian Ringgit. We changed our money on the convenience store in Malaysian Immigration border so we can pay our bus ride from the border to Legoland but the exchange rate is too small. I guess that is what all tourists need to do before travelling to Legoland from Singapore.
To get there, we travelled by MRT from Chinatown (where we stayed) to Jurong East station. Then ride a Causeway Link Bus to CIQ 2nd link. We stopped in Tuas 2nd link for Singapore immigration exit and another bus ride to CIQ 2nd link for Malaysian immigration entry. From CIQ 2nd link we ride another bus to Legoland. It will be the same route going back to Singapore. I know it’s complicated but you’ll just find your way when to go there. These countries has lots of signages, you do not have reason to get lost.
Too proud to show off my ticket with the Legoland hotel as the background.
A clear shot of the Legoland Hotel.
Human sized lego girl statue doing some painting.
Giant lego octupos in Aquazone. We did not ride the Aquazone Wave Racer because we did not bring extra clothes and we will get wet during the ride.
This is normal. Me in another country always carrying a map. Legoland is a huge amusement park and map is needed in finding place to eat and finding the closest toilet.
These minions are not for sale, you need to win them. I can’t risk on losing since we do not have so much on our trip, so I just content myself in having a photo op with them.
Albert Einstein and his Starwars squad.
This is where we had our lunch. I can’t really tell the difference between Malaysian and Singaporean food since I have been eating so much Persian food during the trip, but I still enjoyed my roasted chicken and biryani rice.
The tower near the Boating School.
The Beetle Bounce ride and behind is the Observation Tower. It will take you up and see the aerial view of the entire Legoland.
This shot was taken during our ride at the Observation Tower. That is the Dino Island. We really want to ride the boat but this ride will get us wet and soaked so we just watched people get wet and soaked instead. Haha!
That castle is called The Dragon, because it has a roller coaster ride wherein you will ride a dragon. Sadly it was closed during our visit.
The Dragon Castle behind me.
My loving boyfriend had so much fun and conquered his fear of heights during our rides.
This cute kiddo is having so much fun riding his horse at the Royal Joust.
The following photos will be the photos inside the Miniland wherein popular tourist spots have a mini lego version.
We also visited the Lego Starwars Miniland, it is an ideal place for Starwars fanatics and watched 4D movie at Lego Studios. For amusement park tours always allot the entire day so you can enjoy the view and the rides.
Our selfie before we left Legoland. It was so awesome, I forgot I am already 25 years old. haha!
