Marc Jacobs is one of my favourite luxury brands in almost everything; bags, accessories, clothes, and now makeups. There is something about Marc Jacobs that makes me gravitate towards it. The feeling of possessing something from this brand gives me a confidence boost and the reassuring feel that I am getting the best quality. So when Influenster sent me the newest Marc Jacobs At Lash’d Lengthening and Curling Mascara, I was over the moon.

Ever since the pandemic started, I don’t go out of the house anymore without wearing a mask and because of that, it is important for me to put on eye makeup. The more expressive and dramatic it looks the better. So without further ado, I will let you know what I think about the Marc Jacobs At Lash’d Lengthening and Curling Mascara.

Description: A long-wear, lengthening, and curling mascara for a highly defined, full-extension lash look. At Lash’d delivers length and curl plus ultra-defined volume. The vegan, flake- and smudge-resistant formula is lightweight and buildable without making lashes look crunchy or clumpy. The wavy-bristled wand was designed to evenly coat every lash for flawless application.

Verdict: Let’s start with the packaging. The gold and black minimal design made the mascara look elegant and classic. It is not heavy but sturdy enough. The wand is durable with evenly distributed bristles. It is very easy to use and glides smoothly.

Next are the ingredients. It highlights Biotin Peptide which conditions and enriches lashes and Provitamin B5 which enhances lash’s appearance. It is also vegan and cruelty-free and free from toxic chemicals such as sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehyde, phthalates, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone and synthetic fragrances to name a few. That alone I am already sold!

Given how short and few my lashes are, I find it a bit challenging to find a mascara that will bring it out and lengthen my lashes while keeping it looking natural. The At Lash’d mascara did a great job in doing that, however contrary to the description where it says it will not make the lashes look clumpy, it did to me so I have to comb my lashes repeatedly to separate the lashes which created a mascara build-up. In the end, it worked well, I liked how my lashes looked so I will score this mascara a 4.5/5.

Where to buy: Marc Jacobs At Lash’d Lengthening and Curling Mascara is available in all Sephora branches and online.
