People have different “wants” in life. Some people wants to travel the world, to eat in expensive restaurant, and to lavish on vacation stays. Mine is different, I spend on clothes, accessories, make-up, and books. But why am I the one whose being misunderstood? The answer is simple.. The things that I spent most can be seen in me everyday because those are material things. That made me called “materialistic” and high maintenance . But come to think of it, all peoples “wants” mean money. A traveler spends too much on plane tickets and tours, but are they misunderstood? People just see them as explorers of the world. While people who spend too much dining in expensive restaurants are just called food lovers. And people who lavish on vacation stays are just tagged as people who wants comfort. They also do not do it often because people do not travel everyday, they need to save to be able to do that. We can see their wall post once a month about their travel. Then once a week for food lovers. But why is someone like me always have to be misunderstood? Did you know that the spending I make is the same spending as the people I mentioned above? Perhaps they spend too much more than I do. Yes, call me materialistic all you want, I will not deny that. But did you also know that I do not own any designer items? Most of my clothes are inexpensive and some are sponsored by my blog readers to promote their products. I don’t buy expensive clothes because that would mean less quantity. I want to have a lot of clothes so I buy cheaper ones with good quality. My make-up is also not branded as Chanel and Dior, they are just bought from the Department store.

My point of writing this blog is for people who hates my guts to know that I am more than what you can see. I know I am different but that didn’t make me less human. I worked hard every day for me to be able to get what I want without asking anyone to buy it for me. I am financially independent. I pay my own monthly apartment rental , water and electricity. I pay for my own food.I help my family as much as I can and I think it is not bad for me to reward myself for this efforts. You don’t get to choose if you get hurt in this world, but you have some say in who hurts you.

“Do not hate me because you don’t like the way I dress. Do not hate me because I wear too much accessories. Do not hate me that I cannot go out without make-up.Do not hate me because I am not as conservative as you think . And lastly, do not hate me because I did not do you wrong.”
