Hello! I have been gone for too long. There is never a day that I don’t think about blogging, it’s not that I am going to abandon my first love altogether, but I have been having a tough time adjusting here and squeezing in blogging time is too difficult specially when what I want to blog is the sunny, breezy and bright Philippines and here I am in the other side of the world freezing and wrapped up.
Home sickness is sinking in and idea of me not being able to wear my dresses depresses me a lot. I mean, I live and breath fashion right? My life has changed 90 degrees since I arrived. I left my old self in the Philippines and the person living in Canada now is totally a different person. I am still learning the way of life here and I am doing my best to integrate myself. What I am thankful about is that living in Quebec is a really nice way for me to feel belongingness. I’ve talk to a lot of people and 70% of the people I met are not from Canada, so it doesn’t feel like I am an alien at all. The biggest challenge for me is the weather and clothes of course.
Okay, I know I talk too much so let me tell you about my last entry in the beautiful island of Boracay. I am a pastel girl, I love everything feminine and cute. I love playful cut outs and unique details and accessories is totally a must. On our last day we went out for a fancy lunch in Cristina’s at Crown Regency. I decided to put on nice summer dress suitable enough for a good lunch by the beach. Hat is a necessity for sun protection and I always go for the cute ones and something that I can use to for my other outfits. Versatile pieces are important so you do not have to have a lot of accessories, you can mix and match to reinvent new style.
