Here comes the products!
The Plant Project Himalayan Rose Body Scrub 60mL – $12
A nourishing and fragrant floral sugar scrub to help you reveal radiant skin. With himalayan sea salt, rose petals, and coconut oil. 100% From Natural Sources, no parabens, no sulphates, no mineral oils and 100% Vegan.
This body scrub smells glorious. The distinct smell of floral petal is relaxing. I have to admit that I wasn’t thrilled when I saw salt scrub inside the box because I find salt scrub messy, however, the moment I rubbed it on my skin, it also melted which is good because it did not go to waste and I am confident that my skin is taking in all the great benefits of Himalayan sea salt and essential oils. The best part is after shower because my skin felt so soft, smooth and moisturized.
The Plant Project Rose Water Skin Tonor 60mL – $14
A hydrating spray that helps restore the pH balance of your skin. Refreshing and anti-inflammatory. Great for sensitive or acne-prone skin. 100% From Natural Sources, no parabens, no sulphates, no mineral oils and 100% Vegan.
I always have toner included in my day-time and night-time beauty routine because of how dry my skin feels after washing. This toner is refreshing, very gentle and it made the rest of the beauty regimen application easy.
May You Know Joy Seeds of Intention Cards – $15
This credit card-sized mini deck includes 42 cards. Seeds of Intention are the little sister to May You Know Joy offering more specific and bite-size intentions for everyday. If you are looking for one small intention to shift your day, this is it.
This is something new to me and I love the idea behind the Seed of Intention cards. Before I go to bed, I take one card from the deck, read it aloud, meditate on it so I can shift my mind set to something positive and by the following day it is my goal to make it happen. Believe me it worked! I remember the first card that I pulled out from my Seed of Intention deck, it says “for today, I take a risk”. I didn’t know what to take risk for, but before the day ended I decided to invest in a small business that me and my friend have been planning for a long time. I did not force myself to do it just because it is what is written in my card, but because I am ready for it on that same day to take risk.
Rawcology Smoky Cheeze Superfood Coconut Chips 30g – $4.49
Packed with fibre, protein, healthy fats and vitamin C. It’s very cheesy but without the dairy. Using a combination of turmeric, nutritional yeast, spices, natural hickory smoke and activated sunflower seeds that have been soaked for 10 hours to increase digestibility and absorption of nutrients and protein. You can also feel good about superfood turmeric, which is a natural anti-inflammatory that has antioxidant and anti-bacterial properties.
I am not a fan of the taste of this Smoky Cheeze Superfood Coconut Chips, which is a shame because I love everything with coconut. Big thumbs up that it is nutritious and 100% organic, so I still managed to finish the pack but I don’t think I will ever like it in terms of taste.
Nagi Vanilla Almond Makaroons (2 makaroons) – $3.16
These nutrient dense “power balls” are power packed and will satisfy your sweet tooth without sending your blood sugar soaring. They also contain a heathy amount of protein, fibre, and good fats your body needs.
These tiny power balls are filling and nutritious, though it lacks in the sweet department since I have a really sweet tooth, I would still recommend this to everyone looking for healthy snack that is not so sweet.
Total Product Value: $48.65
Cost of this subscription: $30.00 + $10 shipping
How much I saved: $18.65 (excluding shipping)
Conclusion: This is another month of perfectly curated items. I love the Seed of Intention cards because it gives me something to look forward to in a daily basis and it just keep me on the positive side. I also love the Plant Project Himalayan Rose Body Scrub because it changed my perception about salt scrubs. The Rawcology Smoky Cheeze Superfood Coconut Chips is a miss only because I didn’t like the taste. Overall Sweet Oak Care July box exceeded my expectation.
