Here comes the products!
Duckish Pink Grapefruit Body Butter – $14.99
This invigorating pink grapefruit body butter kicks dry, itchy skin to the curb without synthetic fragrances, dyes, or preservatives. Made with decadent, natural ingredients like organic shea butter, organic olive oil, and organic coconut oil, our body butters make your skin feel silky soft and smell amazing.
I have a very dry skin that gets worse during winter time. I use heavy body creams and apply 2 to 3 times a day, but I switched to body butters when I realized body butters are thicker in consistency and very hydrating. This Duckish body butter, first of all, smells amazing. The grapeful scent is subtle yet so refreshing. It does get a bit tacky before it dries down completely, but it leaves my skin soft and smooth all day. I am in love with this body butter!
Duckish Citrus Bath Salts – $8.99
A combination of Dead Sea salt, Himalayan pink salt and Epsom salts help you detox the pants off that long day and provide your skin with intense hydration. And if that’s not enough, sweet almond oil, organic coconut oil and our unique blend of essential oils moisturize skin and create a citrus smell that will delight.
I always get excited everytime I receive bath products. Relaxation time is very important for me because of my busy schedule and getting in the bathtub is my “me” time. It is when I get to meditate and free my mind from worries. I turned the lights off, lit a candle and put on yoga music for an absolute zen time. The bath salt is a combination of fine and big salt granules and the big ones took a while to get dissolved, so it is best to put the salt while running your bath so once it’s done, everything will be fully dissolved. The bath salt smell citrusy, which gave me the best relaxation experience. I was worried that salt might leave my skin dry, but this one did not, because of the different oils mixed with it.
Red Lemon Natural Living Bloomers Roll-on Perfume – $10.00
A natural Roll-on Perfume, delicately scented with Vanilla, Rose, Ylang Ylang, and a touch of Sandalwood.
This perfume have a strong Vanilla and Bergamot scent. I love the smell of Vanilla, hence, I love Vanilla flavored coffee, but Bergamot gave it a strong and overwhelming scent, kind of musky and spicy at the same time. It is not my perfume scent of choice, but I can assure you that it stays longer than any high end perfume brands I’ve tried.
Tease Tea Duchess of Earl Black Tea Blend – $8.99
Lovers of Earl Grey will have a weakness for this traditional blend laced with cornflowers and vanilla resulting in intoxicating creaminess. A truly elegant and feminine experience.
I am absolutely a tea person; my day will not end without a cup of tea, preferably Earl Grey in the morning or Green Tea before bed time. On my 28th birthday I decided to throw an Afternoon Tea Party where my guests were served with teas and scones ala royalty. My favorites are English Breakfast, Earl Grey and Green Tea. This Duchess of Earl Black tea have a pleasant aroma, very fragrant. It has a distinct notes of vanilla, smoke, and roast. The flavor is surprisingly sweet with sharp bitterness, but as I continue sipping strong fruity notes emerge. I infused longer than usual to see how strong it gets since I don’t like resteeping, but I do add water when it gets really strong. I like honey in my tea, but this one, I like it on its own. Without resteeping and adding more water, the tea maintained its mellow and smooth taste. I love it!
Total Product Value: $42.97
Cost of this subscription: $30.00 + $10 shipping
Conclusion: This month is a lot better than the previous month in terms of value. My favorite is the Duckish body butter which is filled to rim with moisturizing goodness. I am glad Sweet Oak Care was able to deliver another month of quality product discovery made by Canadian producers.
